"The Luing Breed"

In 1972 the Cadzow Brothers won the Massey-Ferguson National award for services to United Kingdom agriculture.  Under the auspices of the Massey-Ferguson organisation Denis Cadzow authored this booklet in 1974 explaining the reasons for, and the methods by which, the Luing breed was developed. It contains valuable historic insight into the breed's creation as well guidelines on breeding principles and selection practices that are as applicable now as they were in 1974.
